THE BRADFORD RANCH is located in Deerhorn Valley, in the eastern foothills of San Diego County (2800 ft) just 10 miles east of the town of Jamul or 45 minutes from downtown San Diego.
This 150-acre property is surrounded on three sides by the Cleveland National Forest and was originally homesteaded by the Walker Family in 1896. The family graveyard still exists here today.
At the flagstone entrance you see the ranch nestled between Barber and Elena mountains. A picturesque half-mile drive follows along a paved tree-lined road through meadows dotted with oak trees and past Lake Labrador (our small seasonal lake). Ahead lies the old Walker barn, our large wood corral (60 by 120 ft) and a flagstone entrance to the “ranch compound”-- a park-like setting for the private residences.
THE BRADFORD RANCH is serene and completely secluded. It has numerous hiking/walking paths and breathtaking 360-degree views of distant mountains with access to miles of trails in the National Forest.
