Patricia Garcia-Norvell,
Master Makeup Artist and Hair Designer
Patricia is a board certified, licensed cosmetologist with over twenty-five years’ experience in the beauty industry. Her dedication and passion for both make-up and hair has gained her the respect of her peers and, most importantly, her many satisfied clients.
In her quest to enhance her skill set, Patricia attended San Diego State University, where she earned her certification in meeting and event planning. Her experience in event planning has strengthened her time management and organizational skills, and she is able to proficiently work within other make-up artists’ and vendors’ master timelines.
Patricia’s extensive portfolio includes working with every skin color and hair type. Her eye-catching and dazzling work has been prominently featured on the cover and pages of some of the most prestigious magazines and on social media. A seasoned world traveler, some of Patricia’s larger projects have recently included trips to Mexico City and Barcelona (where her fluency in Spanish was
very helpful!) and also Italy. In Italy she had the privilege of working with the Monte Zuckor Photographic Education's team, professional photographers, and models from around the globe. She has also worked on special projects (product reviews) for the camera company Canon (see video in "Print" tab) with photographer Lou Freeman.
Patricia excels in airbrushing, bridal, glamour, and avant-garde make-up. Her continuing education includes a class in March 2016 with Russian award-winning hair and make-up guru,Farrukh Shamuratov, in Los Angeles, California.
A consummate professional, Patricia is always cool under pressure. She has a unique ability to make her clients feel at ease while making them look their absolute best. Her greatest achievement, in her own words, is “helping women discover their strength and helping them maximize their potential, while honoring the person within.”
Patricia is an active volunteer and lends her expertise to the Look Good, Feel Betterprogram sponsored by the American Cancer Society. She teaches and empowers women who are undergoing chemotherapy treatments and experiencing hair loss and skin changes.
